Design: Our experience and that of other coaches gave us common denominators of what was expected of a RIB
The design should be made to return safely from water in any condition. If we must rescue and provide security to athletes we could not be on a boat that we knew for sure was not reliable in a rough sea.
A good boat must hit as little as possible and coaches generally suffer back injuries from working on flat hull boats.
Must have engines that spend little petrol and big tanks so we can stay on sea the necessary time avoiding security problems of limited autonomy.
So important as not “fly” is not to “keep going in the wave lane” and abruptly change our course, that when we go up to 27 knots could cause an accident.
Good interior height
It is important, if we lose our balance, to having the best chance to stay inside the boat and not into the water.
Center of gravity as low as possible
To give stability under rough sea.
Details of comfort
For a coach there are needs that are essentials, so we think of what we miss when we sailed in other boats.
With all this information we went to Horacio Chakass. And with more than a year of working together the plane of Sailpro 625 was born.
We briefed Horacio Chackass and, after a year of team working, Sailpro 625 was born.
Make a boat that satisfy all our expectations demanded to the engineer Horacio Chackass one detailed study of the water lines that conclude with a vanguard drawing. The design combine: sections “V”, curves, planes, deflectors and half-tunnels stabilizers in a precise combination that can only be achieved with the highest technology in naval design.
The drawing was of such precision that only a robotized system could materialize the purity of design. Thus the work began at the shipyard “TecnoFat” property of Jorge Romano. Once there the specialist (Ismael) made the robot 5 axis “carve” the polyurethane block the first time, and after filling with special resins returned to carve a second time with thin wicks. The result was an accurate and three-dimensional piece faithful to the conception of Engineer Chackass.
